The interior is easily accessed by removing the base which is securely attached using three brass screws.
The urn is sealed with shellac and the exterior is finished with water based lacquer polished and buffed to a beautiful sheen.
Laser engraving is available for this product, but does add time and a $45 fee to the process since we need to ship the urns out to handle this request. Our available fonts are Arial, Brush Script, Rockwell, Times New Roman, and Verdana. There is a maximum of three lines and roughly 20 characters per line, so please bear this is mind. Large: This urn is able to handle up to 225 lbs. in pre-cremation weight. Dimensions: 12.25" point to point by 7.83" top to bottom.
Medium: This urn is able to handle up to 150 lbs. in pre-cremation weight. Dimensions: 11" point to point by 6.375" top to bottom.
Small: This urn is able to handle up to 65 lbs. in pre-cremation weight. Dimensions: 8.7" point to point by 5.75" top to bottom.
Woods: Figured American Black Cherry, Ambrosia Maple, Curly Red Oak, Bloodwood, Baltic Birch, Mahogany, Raintree, Sapele, Red Marblewood, Speck Red Marble, Walnut. Due to the completely handcrafted nature of this art, not every wood is available in every size. The wood offered in each size is totally dependent on the volume of natural sources available at any given time.
